At Middlesex University, education means preparing our students for life, for the job market.  We combine academic excellence with unique insights from industry leaders.  In early February 2015, students reading for MSc in Business Information Systems Management  had the opportunity to engage in a discussion with Ing Joseph Caruana as part of the Managing Across Borders Module of the Middlesex University Malta Business School.  In a career spanning over 30 years, Ing Caruana occupied several positions including the CEO of Malta's national hospital apart from setting-up and managing his own companies.  Exploring the different dimensions and challenges of operating in a multicultural environment, Ing Caruana presented students with a number of case studies across different sectors.  This talk allowed students to see the practical side of business management with particular reference on multicultural environments.  Patrick Pullicino, Head of Malta Campus, said that these talks and events played an important part in preparing students for their careers.  He added that a number of other talks will be organised in the coming weeks.
