BSc (Hons) Computer Networks

I previously studied at Aptech Computer Education in Nigeria and decided to opt for Middlesex University Malta as it was recommended to me by friends who have also studied here.

I am currently reading for a degree in computer networking. The programme allows me to be able to achieve excellence in the design and implementation of networks. The lab sessions are wonderful as we're given hands on experience of what we're studying. The thing I love most about studying computer networks is that the skills we are emerging are those that employers within the IT world are looking for. I've learned and understood things that at first seemed impossible to understand – the lecturers and tutors are always so helpful and caring in making sure you understand the concept of the subject thoroughly.

The Student Office has been amazing, they gave me wonderful advice on preparing a suitable CV and suggesting companies that I may be best suited for. They also inform us on jobs and placement opportunities. I have received numerous interviews from a lot of reputable companies, and I am 100% sure of a getting a job as soon as I conclude with my degree in May.

Malta is the perfect location to study – it has a diverse mix of cultures, so much activities to do, and the wonderful sun grazing down on your skin, you can never get bored – trust me. It was so easy to have fun in Malta because everywhere was so close to each other, perks of living on an island. Also, the campus is located close to ST. Julian’s, a bustling tourist hotspot which is Malta's entertainment hub. So, having fun in Malta is not an issue!
